BRIDGE (Building Recovery in Disability through Guidance and Education) —This is an initiative aimed at achieving systematic and sustainable improvements in the care of Ukrainian amputees and the rehabilitation of patients with injuries.

The Health Sciences Research Foundation is contributing to the development of evidence-based rehabilitation practice in Ukraine and the establishment of a Ukrainian Cochrane office. The Foundation’s activities within the project include supporting the establishment of Cochrane Ukraine, coordinating collaboration with Cochrane Germany, developing a Ukrainian platform for evidence-based information, translating and disseminating Cochrane materials into Ukrainian, and organising training for specialists.

Goal: The objective of the partnership is to improve interdisciplinary collaboration of healthcare professionals working trauma patients, develop the case management system and establish a resource for evidence-based research and support.

Period: November 2025 – October 2027

Partners: Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Deutsch-Ukrainisches Forum e.V.
