The Health Science Research Foundation (HSFR) was founded in April 2024 in Lviv City by a group of initiative scientists, educators and specialists in the field of physical therapy, speech and language therapy, rehabilitation, quality of life, physical activity and physical education. The main goal of the organisation was to unite efforts to conduct innovative researches and implementation of its results in practice. The idea for the foundation creation arose as a response to the urgent need to develop the evidence-based practice in rehabilitation and health care, and to introduction of new approaches to preserve and promote Ukrainian population health.

Since its incorporation, the Foundation has been actively working to build a research network, establishment of cooperation with national and international partners, and holding of educational events to improve the skills of healthcare professionals. The first months of the organisation’s activities were aimed at creating a solid foundation for further researches, engagement of experts in interdisciplinary projects, and formation of strategic development directions.

HSFR strives to become a leading platform for the implementation of scientific innovations in the field of healthcare, contributing to the global improvement of the quality of life and health of people.
